You are my nominee for Best Writer/Thinker on all of medium.com! As a lifelong writer, I loved this article because....words. When I wrote a novel in 2009, I buried it in a drawer because the only reason I wrote it was to be the editor who could appreciate what it was like to write a novel. It was an exercise...and I'm laughing because two of the characters in that manuscript who were based on real-life (and amazing) people I knew who also died! Dead novels DO have an afterlife...mine still haunts me, but I'm not going to fling its corpse into the public realm! Thank you!
