We were talking about this blog post at dinner tonight, me and my friends Anna and Beatrice. I told them that I wanted to be able to write as well as you have done here.

Beatrice said she had not heard my comment and asked me to repeat it.

My mouth was full of food and I motioned that, being polite, I could not repeat.

So Anna said, “‘I want to write like Tom’ is what she said.”

And there happened a lovely punctuation moment.
