Why my elder crush is over.
Gossip no more, dear friends,
my silly crush just crashed.
I used to love old Martin
because of the times I’d laughed.
My heart has now been shorted
it’s gone void of chemistry.
Humor burned out of his klieg light
and trashed my levity.
No longer I watch him and wish —
but he is not to blame.
It’s me who spends my anguish
on his Hollywood star of fame.
I have my own stand-up routine
based on lack of modesty
so goodbye to you dear Martin
and love lost in your comedy.
NOTE: Just kidding! I still love Martin Short more than I love Randy Rainbow (and I love Randy Rainbow so much that this week I told my kids that I wished he was their sibling). I only wrote this post because my friend sent this video:
