Light crisps the leaves.
Light dries the stone.
Light will not leave
light’s breadth alone.

That smart Solon!
He sends lasers!
Issues photons:
life’s appraisers.

Rising rises.
Set doesn’t set.
Heat’s residue
evening’s regret.

Lightful summer.
Unceasing sun.
Cloudless curse for
Arizonan.

NOTE: This year’s summer monsoon season is being called the “nonsoon.” Summer rain is ghosting Phoenix in 2020. This city just broke its record for days over 110F-degree in a year. Today will be day 38.

There is no water in fire, but there is firewater. And it doesn’t help, either.
