Infestation.
Criminal acts.
Harsh divorces.
Anticlimax.

Being human
able to cry:
liquidation
detoxify.

All her sadness
in wet salt weighs
so when tears roil
she lets them spray.

Angry liquor
assuages fears.
She drinks water
to make more tears.

QUESTION:

How do I write
all the things I
want to talk-therapy
about with the
invisible ink
of tear water?

ANSWER:

In poetry,
because I
can’t write it
as narrative.

Narrative is much too difficult.
