in the flowers
while they’re being
in their powers.

They’ve registered
the yellow vote
for greener world
and anecdote.

But what of leaves
in season’s turn
and heat waves of
sun’s oaths unsworn?

Everything will
be all right when
they recycle
all their light zen.
