When not in politics, it’s also Mg on the Periodic Table, atomic number 12

Magnesium, as it appears in warm gas in outer space is pictured here through ultraviolet light by the Hubble Telescope on Eta Carinae, a star that is 7,500 light years away from Earth.

When things get too disturbing on this planet, I look to the heavens — physical and ethereal.

What do you do?

Here is a lesson from Eta Carinae. This star’s environment is violent! What is shown in this photograph, according to the text below the photo that appeared on the Wikimedia Commons site is “…the glow of magnesium embedded in warm gas (shown in blue). The luminous magnesium resides in the space between the dusty bipolar bubbles and the outer shock-heated nitrogen-rich filaments (shown in red).”

Magnesium, pictured here doing explosive things in the universe, seems similar to the MAGAnesium going on now in the United States of America.

When magnesium enters the human body in appropriate amounts, it eases constipation, calms heartburn, strengthens bones, and can pep up a damaged liver. According to https://www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingredientmono-998/magnesiumf, if too much magnesium builds up, the side effects are an irregular heartbeat, low blood pressure, confusion, coma, and death.

What happens when too much MAGAnesuim builds up in a democracy?

We are seeing it now. MAGAnesium is “glowing” up the blue-colored “warm gas” emitted by the shills who call themselves leaders. All those with boots on the ground in the U.S.A. right now (legal or immigral) are “shock-heated,” red with anger.

It seems that democracy itself is more than 7,500 light years away from America.

Heavens, help us!
