“It’ll Be All Over in the Morning”

…asking for a gospel truth on the birthday of a friend.

Pastor Alexis Thomas is, and forever will be, one of my heroes.

He now lives in the dimension of heaven, but today I had to ask YouTube to bring him back with a message for this very day — the birthday of another one of my heroes.

Today, my friend Daniel Epstein is celebrating another birthday. Daniel is the author of Portraits in Faith, a book and a series of interviews with people who live all over the world…people he photographed, listened to, and fell into the agape kind of love with so that he could share the experience of meeting them and speaking about that phenomenal yet mysterious feeling of faith.

Happy Birthday, Daniel. May you find happiness in this time of “great transition,” may you enjoy meeting pastor Alexis Thomas via the magic of audio/video, and may your parents be eternally blessed for bringing you and your gifts into this world, into the humanity we share.
