for physicists
his death denied.

Sent to wander
dark arena
armed with mirrors…
and subpoena.

True lenses give
depth, breadth, and scope
to what’s now seen
beyond trust’s hope.

We wonderers
rely on light
of internet
to track Webb’s flight.
