No words in the
English language
play in rhyme with
month, orange, silver,

or purple. Why?
Does it matter
that month rebels
and orange defies?

This is when the
poet almosts
and verbs the art:
conformation.

Month takes on munch.
Silver sliver.
Orange or/ands.
Purple? Preverbal!

NOTE: I am taking an online writing class that is very challenging. This poem is just an off-loading of some frustration with The Art Of How To Make Ideas Fit And Flow. The more I work at it, the more I play at it…I still don’t know!
