Rock. A mountain fractal.
Vote. A small divide.
Free. A concept quaking.
Time. A space to bide.

A range of peaks and valleys
are ours alone to climb
be they in a white house
or on this simple rhyme.

Book. A history record.
Shoe: A sole, a tie.
Mail. A point of contact.
Fork: A pitch, a cry.

NOTE: The only things I know how to do as an individual living through a time of chaos is to take care of myself by writing poetry, being kinder than normal, allowing music to soothe my whirling brain, staying as nonjudgmental as possible, and creating more love as a buffer and an offering. What about you?
