play solutions
and causations.
Attention to
what they dissect
must come apart
to reconnect.
Diagnosis
purports measure
in what is left
of life’s treasure.
*This poem is for two of my beloved friends, Wendy and Judy. Both are navigating their micro-oceans of health and illness in heroic ways. The journeys they’ve undertaken, both medical and spiritual, should be written as case studies in the finest ink on washi paper, and mailed in an envelope made of the same.
