Before my daughter left for college we had “the talk” about feminism. She said, “I’m not a feminist.” I was shocked and asked why. She said, “I want to do what you did — stay home and enjoy raising my kids and then have a career.” At age 62, I’ve dropped the “fem” and am comfortable with just being an “ist.”
